Livingston County is a county located in Northwest Missouri in the United States. Its county seat is Chillicothe. The county was organized January 6, 1837, from part of Carroll County, Missouri and named for U.S. Secretary of State Edward Livingston.

As one of the counties that makes up Northwest Missouri, Livingston County has everything from farm land and pasture to rugged, forested hills. It is populated by 15,195 residents (2010 census) and lies about 90 miles northeast of Kansas City.
